Norman David Sizemore, a man whose adventurous spirit and friendly demeanor touched the lives of many, passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 45. Born on December 29, 1978, in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky to James Norman Sizemore and the late Alice Sue Brown Sizemore.
Norman’s life was one of service and dedication to his community. He proudly served as a volunteer firefighter for Dawson Springs, where his bravery and commitment to others earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him. His work with Tree House Maintenance showcased his skills and his passion for helping others.
An avid outdoorsman, Norman found joy and solace in the embrace of nature. He was happiest when fishing, hiking, kayaking, boating, or riding his motorcycle through the scenic routes of Kentucky. His love for the outdoors was only surpassed by his love for his family, with whom he shared his greatest adventures and most cherished moments. Norman was of the Pentecostal faith, living his life with a kindness and generosity that reflected his beliefs.
He leaves behind a loving family: his father, James Norman Sizemore; his brother, Brian (Vanessa) Sizemore; his nieces, Kelsea (Zach) Bivins, Lauryn (Christian) Sizemore, Kamryn Sizemore, and Eryn Sizemore; his nephew, Leland Sizemore; and his great-nieces and great-nephew, Mackenzie Bivins, Riley Stanley, Emily Stanley, and Joseph Williams.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home and from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm Friday, October 4, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 4, 2024, at Menser Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY with Bro. David Hoard officiating.
