Join Kentucky State Police for ‘Coffee with a Trooper’ in Eddyville Friday Morning

The public is invited to have Coffee with a Trooper in Eddyville on Friday morning.

Kentucky State Police Post 1 spokeswoman Trooper Sarah Burgess has announced that the event is part of the national Coffee with a Cop initiative. She stated that this annual event has been instrumental in building trust and fostering a sense of camaraderie between law enforcement and the public. She noted that from large cities to small farming towns, local agencies have utilized this effort to discuss community issues and connect with residents over a cup of coffee.

According to Trooper Burgess, KSP Post 1 will participate by touring in their 1978 Ford cruiser to four different locations within the post area, including Murray, Mayfield, and Paducah. The final Coffee with a Trooper event this week will take place in Eddyville on Friday from 9 AM to 11 AM at Our Daily Bread, LLC, located at 101 Newman Drive.
