Two units from Post 1 were recently honored at the Kentucky State Police annual awards ceremony held in Lexington.
Post 1 spokeswoman Trooper Sarah Burgess announced that Trooper Casey Hamby was named Post 1 Trooper of the Year, and Detective Jay Dunn was named Post 1 Detective of the Year.
She expressed gratitude for their dedication to the agency and their service to the Post 1 area.
