A complaint about an intoxicated driver led to the arrest of a Providence woman in Princeton Thursday afternoon.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison stated that officers responded to a report concerning a woman who had departed from Casey’s with two children in her vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of West Green and Harrison Street, where they made contact with the driver, 41-year-old Lillie Stokes.

After conducting an investigation, police reported that Stokes was taken into custody upon determining that she was under the influence of intoxicants.
