Assistant Superintendent Jason Clark presented a detailed analysis of the Caldwell County School District’s state accountability data to the school board Monday night, revealing a decline in scores and highlighting areas for growth.
Clark presented the statistics through a PowerPoint presentation, revealing that the elementary school’s overall score for 2024 was 62.9, down from 67.1 in 2023. The middle school’s score for 2024 was 61.9, compared to 67.0 in 2023. Similarly, the high school’s overall score for 2024 was 66.9, a decrease from 72.5 in 2023.
Red indicates the lowest performance, and blue represents the highest. All three schools received yellow ratings on the 2023-2024 School Report Card.
According to Clark, the data on post-secondary readiness indicates a decline, with a score of 101.9 for 2024 compared to 108.5 in 2023.
