Caldwell County Emergency Management Dir. Joey McCaslin visited Tess during WPKY’s “Coffee Talk” Tuesday morning, to remind residents, the last Wednesday of every month is testing day for Caldwell Storm Sirens. However, this month’s scheduled test will also be testing to ensure Fredonia’s siren repair was successful. Due to that, McCaslin says the siren will sound a bit different this month. McCaslin is also excited to announce the generator project is almost complete! Hear all the details below….
This Wednesday, November 30th, and the last Wednesday of every month, at 12 noon, storm sirens are tested at all siren locations across the county, weather permitting. In the event of bad weather during the normally scheduled testing time, the test will be delayed until the following month.
