A Princeton woman was transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle vehicle on Marion Road at the I-69 ramp Wednesday afternoon.

Princeton Police Chief Chris King reported that 20-year-old Kendal Richardson of Princeton was stopped in traffic, waiting to make a left turn onto the I-69 northbound entrance ramp. He said 31-year-old Brandyn Petty, also of Princeton, was southbound on Marion Road and rear-ended Richardson’s vehicle. Chief King said Petty told officers that he was distracted by a water bottle that had fallen inside the vehicle and did not notice Richardson’s vehicle was stopped.

According to Chief King, a passenger in Richardson’s vehicle, 44-year-old Amanda Cox, was transported by AmeriPro EMS to Caldwell Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
