Caldwell County Grand Jury Issues Seven Indictments, Dismisses One Case

The Caldwell County Grand Jury returned seven felony indictments and one no-true bill from its November session.

A no-true bill was returned on Dylan Ortt Luke on charges of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia, and the case was dismissed.

A true bill was returned on Matthew Bryce Cummins, of Princeton, on charges of first-degree promoting contraband. Cummins is accused of possessing Oxycodone/Hydrocodone on August 6 while confined at the jail.

Justin Adamson and Desarae Stone, both of Dawson Springs, were each indicted on a single count of complicity in the fraudulent use of a credit card under $10,000 on or between July 5 through July 13.

The grand jury indicted Ayman Cole Ketchey, of Princeton, on a single count of theft of mail matter from an incident on July 22.

A true bill was returned on Tyler Holmes, of Princeton, on charges of possession of marijuana, third-degree terroristic threatening, and third-degree assault. The charges stem from August 31 on Hay Road.

Kelbi Sue McKinney, of Crofton, was indicted on first-degree wanton endangerment, a misdemeanor charge, and two violations. The charges are from an incident that occurred on June 7.

The grand jury indicted David Oliver, address unknown, on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, first-degree promoting contraband, tampering with physical evidence, first-degree persistent felony offender, four misdemeanor charges, and a violation.

Oliver was arrested by Princeton Police on September 7 after being stopped while riding a motorcycle on Garrett Street. During the stop, officers reported they detected the smell of marijuana, and discovered that the motorcycle was unregistered. Once Oliver was secured in jail, officers searched the rear seat of the patrol vehicle and said they found suspected methamphetamine, along with additional meth in his clothing.
