Many people may not realize that Caldwell County has its own Christmas Tree Farm. Located just 15 minutes north of Princeton sits the Greenfield Christmas Tree Farm and it opened for business last Saturday with the 4th annual Merry Market Tree Sale. Kirk Greenfield explained they were open for people to pick up the pre-ordered cut trees or pick one out when arriving at the farm at 240 Rufus Road.

click to download audioThere were other vendors set up selling various products and when Samatha Fontenot and her family arrived from Reidland they were impressed with the setup and were ready to find a tree.
Fontenot shared they had been hunting for the perfect Christmas tree for a few days and traveled in and out of the State to find one. She added when they arrived at the Greenfield Farm they found just what they were looking for.
