Senior Paycen Rogers Weighs 4-H Success Against Academic Goals

A local high school senior recently discovered that part of life and growing up is making difficult decisions.

Paycen Rogers had to face that reality when she accomplished a goal in her 4-H livestock judging career and the option was offered to her to move on in competition which would require a lot of time and traveling or pass on the opportunity and focus on her school work and community activities. Paycen shared she has grown to love livestock judging and has been involved in it for half of her life. This past summer that time spent in judging paid off and she qualified to participate in a large livestock judging experience.
