Princeton Code Enforcement is continuing to work on the progress of enrolling houses into the Amnesty Program and addressing city code enforcement and property development.
During an update to the city council, Code Enforcement Officer Alan Getz shared an update on the progress of enrolling two houses into the Amnesty Program.
click to download audioAdditionally, he mentioned that a code enforcement hearing is scheduled for December 12 with two individuals to address some developing issues sooner rather than later.
Getz said he’s also continuing to work on handling the situation of people living in campers within the city.
click to download audioFurthermore, Getz noted he’s working on a development request for 12 city-owned properties for more housing opportunities in the city.
click to download audioHe mentioned that, while the details are still vague at this stage, the initiative is in progress, and he is hopeful it will lead to more available housing in the city.
Mayor Brock Thomas commended Getz and others for their ongoing efforts, noting that progress is being made with several unsightly properties in the community.
