Vanessa Holt Redd, age 61, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at her home.
Vanessa was born March 18, 1963 to Wayne Holt and the late Shirley Williams Holt. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Eddyville and enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her father she is survived by her daughter, Jillian (Josey) Slaton of Princeton; sons, Jordan (Trista) Redd of Princeton, Jeffrey Redd of Russellville; step-sister, Rita (Jimmy) Taylor of Nebo; step-brothers, Tony (Kris) P’Poole of Cadiz, Kevin P’Poole of Cadiz; grandchildren, Ava Slaton, Levi Slaton, Kayley and Gage Redd; step-grandchildren, Chase Markham and Alaina Markham.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robin Redd; sister, Marla Holt; and step-sister, Lisa Oliver.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday, December 16, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. James McKinney and Bro. Lester Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lyon County.
