Donald Lee Oliver, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at his home in Portland, Tennessee. Born on December 30, 1972, in Pontiac, Michigan.
Donald’s career as a Compliance and Operations Manager at Appalachian Pipeline Contractors demonstrated his exceptional work ethic and commitment to his field. His dedication to building community was exemplified in the strong bonds formed with his coworkers and his involvement as a Mason and Shriner.
An avid Detroit Lions fan and a fantasy football champion, Donald celebrated life through his interests. His unmatched competitive spirit made him a beloved figure in both his personal and professional circles.
His legacy is cherished and carried on by his devoted wife, Heather Vinson Oliver; his sons, Travis Mitchell Oliver and Trevor Marshall Oliver, all of Portland; his mother, Patricia Steeley of Princeton; his father, Danny Reed Oliver of Princeton; his sister, Danielle Oliver, and his brother, Chance Reed (Abby) Oliver, both of Princeton; and his adored four-legged companion, Chloe; several aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews; several in-laws.
Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Abraham P. Mesaris; and beloved grandmother Velma Oliver; brother-in-law, Troy Vinson; sister-in-law, Amy Vinson Elmore.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm Monday, December 30, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, December 30, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Caldwell County.
