A house on Ratliff Street in Princeton was destroyed by a fire on Tuesday afternoon.
Caldwell County Emergency Management Director Joey McCaslin reported that the Princeton Fire Department and emergency personnel were sent to 110 Ratliff Street shortly before 4:15 PM for a structure fire. Upon their arrival, he said flames were visible from the rental property.
He said the house was destroyed with some damage to the nearby homes.
McCaslin said the cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
According to McCaslin, twenty firefighters from the Princeton Fire Department responded to the scene to battle the fire.
