Ralph Rickard, 69, of Princeton

Ralph “Ralphie” Edward Rickard, aged 69, of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away on January 27, 2025 at Princeton Health and Rehabilitation.

Ralph was born on May 25, 1955, in Princeton, KY to the late Orville and Wanda Rickard. Ralph dedicated much of his life to serving as a police officer in Princeton, KY, Oak Grove, KY, and Sarasota, FL. Alongside his commitment to law enforcement, he was a skilled carpenter with a passion for creating and fixing with his hands. Ralph was widely known for his infectious laughter, boundless courage, and selfless spirit. He cherished quiet moments spent reading his Bible and treasured the simple joys of watching westerns. A natural-born storyteller, he captivated friends and family with his vivid tales, truly embodying the essence of living life to the fullest. Ralph was undoubtedly the life of any gathering, leaving behind a legacy of joy and resilience that will continue to inspire all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Survivors include his loving life partner for thirty-two years, Kelly Ward; daughter, Dallas Ward of Princeton; sister, Virginia Green of Princeton; brother, Dennis Rickard of Princeton; several nieces and nephews; and his favorite four legged companion, Kenna Dru.

In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his son, Stanley Jewell Rickard; two sisters, Bonnie Teague and Ruth Choate; two brothers, James Rickard and Ernie Rickard.

Visitation for Ralph Rickard will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. David Brown officiating.

Burial will follow in Norman Dalton Cemetery in Caldwell County.
