Passage of the income tax reduction bill, freestanding birth centers, legislative oversight, and a proposed constitutional amendment concerning gubernatorial pardons are among issues on the mind of Third District State Senator Craig Richardson.
Among the highlights for the week for Senator Richardson was the passage of House Bill One which reduces the state income tax rate from four to three and a half percent next year.
Richardson says Senate Bill 17 will provide more options for women giving birth.
He says there is a potential constitutional amendment that would place limits on the pardon power of the governor.
Richardson represents Christian and Caldwell County in the Kentucky Senate.
