Elizabeth Suzian Cunningham (Landreth), 54, of Franklin, KY passed away peacefully at 11:30 AM Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN surrounded by family.
Suzian entered this world on March 5th, 1970, in Caldwell County, KY to Ronald “Ronnie” & Nancy Landreth. Suzian grew up in Marion, KY, where she learned to play piano, studied German in school, (supposedly) terrorized her brother Shannan, and met her first husband and martial arts enthusiast Anthony Davidson. Suzian graduated from Crittenden County High School in 1988 and eventually moved to Scottsville and then Bowling Green, KY where she raised two children, Ryan and Ally Beth.
Suzian was a dedicated and supportive mother, daughter, friend, and sister to everyone in her life, and especially to her furry “favorite grandchild” Pancake. Suzian was a talented artist and was a member of the Simpson County Guild of Artists and Craftsman, having several of her paintings displayed at the Gallery on the Square in Franklin, KY. She loved to paint just like her late grandmother, Wanda Blackburn. Suzie Q always looked forward to the warm weather and “getting out to play in the dirt” when spring came. Suzian was fiercely proud of her children, never missing a chance to brag or talk about them to anyone she met.
Suzian spent most of her life working as an optometric technician and began working at Henkel of Bowling Green, KY in 2013. While not only providing Suzian with thousands of free detergent pods, fabric softener, and dryer sheets that she handed out like candy to friends and family, Henkel provided Suzian with a work family that she never had before. Suzian was a valued member of the team and made many lifelong friendships with many of her amazing coworkers.
She is survived by 2 children, Ryan Davidson (Kalab) of Bowling Green, KY and Ally Davidson (Ellison) of Chicago, IL; mother, Nancy (Stallion) Landreth of Marion, KY; 2 brothers, Shannan Landreth (Tressie) of The Villages, FL and David Doom (Debbie) of Morganton, NC; nephews, Dawson, Alec, Brent, and Josh; and her grand dog, Pancake.
