A weekend collision in Caldwell County left a Lyon County woman with minor injuries after her vehicle was rear-ended.
Sheriff Don Weedman reported that deputies were dispatched to I-69, two miles south of Princeton, due to debris on the road. He said that 36-year-old Kayla Guess, from Kuttawa, slowed down to avoid the debris when her vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle driven by 45-year-old Kimberly Cowsert, from Fredonia.
According to Sheriff Weedman, AmeriPro EMS arrived at the scene to administer first aid. He said Guess was taken by a private vehicle to Caldwell Medical Center, where she received treatment for minor injuries.
