We come to you with a heartfelt farewell to Debbie Kinslow, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. Born on October 29, 1957, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Debbie’s gentle spirit and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew her.
Debbie grew up immersed in the harmonies of music, showcasing her talents by playing the french horn and trumpet in the Caldwell County High School band, graduating with the class of 1975. Her love for music was only rivaled by her admiration for Elvis Presley, whose songs provided a soundtrack to many cherished moments in her life.
Debbie was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Princeton. She is survived by her siblings: Kimberly (Lisa) Kinslow of Paducah, Troy (Susie) Dye of Elizabethtown, Melissa Conner of Eddyville, and Morgan Lee Kinslow of Trigg County, as well as by her numerous nieces and nephews.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Lee Kinslow; her mother, Margaret Jane Cassidy Whayne; and her stepmother, Patsy Kinslow. Her memory will also be cherished by her loving family at the Christian Health Center of Hopkinsville.
In the glow of her favorite TV station, channel 4, Debbie’s gentle nature was a comforting presence. As we say goodbye, we celebrate a life lived with kindness, a quiet strength that spoke volumes, and a smile that will forever be remembered.
