The Knights of Columbus Annual Fish Fry Fundraising Event Kicks Off Friday

The Knights of Columbus has announced its beloved fish fry kicks off Friday at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Princeton.

George Barber from the non-profit organization stated that the fish fry serves as a fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting local charities in the community.

For the next five Fridays, excluding Good Friday, they will offer take-out fish and shrimp meals for $13 each, available from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

In previous years, the Knights of Columbus dedicated one of the five Fridays to raising funds for The King’s Kitchen of Caldwell County’s Summer Feeding program. However, Barber mentioned that the Summer Feeding program is now being shifted to Caldwell County schools.

On the sixth Friday, Barber announced that the Knights of Columbus will be selling fish and shrimp meals in Dawson Springs, with all proceeds going to the Dawson Food Bank.

According to Barber, signs about the fish fry will be posted on South Jefferson Street. He noted that if you’re driving toward the Country Club area, St. Paul’s Catholic Church will be on the left.

Meals can be paid for with cash or check. Additionally, Barber noted that there’s no need to leave your vehicle, as someone will come out to take your order and bring it to you.

The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal service order founded in March 1882. Membership is limited to practicing Catholic men.
