Janice Fay Holland, age 76, of Lyon County, passed away March 7, 2025 at Lake Barkley Health and Rehab.
Janice was born August 26, 1948 to the late Ernest, Sr. and Ruth Melton Johnson. She was a member of Swanee Church of Christ. During her time at Lake Barkley Health and Rehab she considered the residents and staff to be a part of her extended family and enjoyed the many activities offered. Her greatest joy was the love she had for her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Jan Marie (Tommy) Holland of Calvert City; one son, Richard (Brandi) Holland of Missouri; one brother, Larry (Nancy) Johnson of Mayfield; three grandchildren, Megan Holland, Chandler (Morgan) Holland and Kerrington (Luke) Schlueter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Johnson; four brothers, Roy Johnson, Ernest Johnson, Jr., Rondall Cooke and Bobby Lee Johnson.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Lakeland Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Lakeland Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Asher Cemetery in Caldwell County.
