A Paducah woman was charged with DUI after a collision in Lyon County over the weekend.
According to Lyon County Sheriff Brent White, he responded to a single-vehicle wreck on US 641 North around 4:10 Sunday morning. He said that an investigation revealed an SUV driven by 40-year-old Meagan Edwards was northbound when she missed a residential driveway before colliding with a concrete culvert and ditch.
He said Edwards was taken into custody and charged with DUI-1st offense with aggravating circumstances, improper equipment and failure of owner to maintain required insurance. Sheriff White reported that Edwards was not injured in the collision and was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
