A call to police about squatters led to the arrest of a Princeton woman on meth possession charges Wednesday morning.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison reported that officers responded to a call about squatters at a residence near the 400 block of East Locust Street around 10:40 a.m.. The homeowners reportedly informed officers that 52-year-old Margaret Driver had previously been trespassed from the property, which police said was confirmed through a records check.

According to police, when Driver was taken into custody, she was found in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. She was booked into the Caldwell County Jail on charges of first-degree criminal trespassing, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
