A Caldwell County man was sentenced in federal court on Monday for multiple child pornography charges.
According to court documents, 50-year-old William Franklin Guill was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison, followed by a life term of supervised release, for four counts of sexual exploitation of children, one count of distribution of child porn, one count of possession of child porn, and one count of transfer of obscene material to a minor. Prosecutors stated that Guill recorded himself engaged in sexual acts with two minor girls and used an online social media application to distribute child sexual abuse material and send nude images of himself to one of the minors.
Guill was also ordered to pay $6,000 in restitution to the victims.
The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations Nashville, and Kentucky State Police.
