Funeral services for Marla Gaye Watson, age 70, of Princeton will be held Monday afternoon at one at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Caldwell Co.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening from four until eight at the funeral home.
Marla was a former line worker and president of the Local Union #227 at the Carhart factory, member and former pianist at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Princeton.
Survivors include one daughter: Stacy Rickard and husband, Michael, of Princeton; one son: Gordon “Gordy” Watson and wife, Sandra Tabor, of Fredonia; one brother: Tracy Travis and wife, Teresa, of Caldwell County; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one niece: Rebecca Gilkey; one nephew: Shannon Travis; and three great nephews.
