Thursday Paving in Princeton Moved to Friday

Paving that was scheduled for Thursday has been moved to Friday.
In a post on social media Thursday morning Princeton Mayor Kota Young announced crews, which were to pave about seven streets, were not able to because of mechanical issues at the asphalt plant. He added crews would instead pave Oak, East and West Sandra, Mohawk, Skyline, and Nancy Drives, as well as Oak Street on Friday.
Mayor Young is asking that all cars normally parked in the roadway during daylight hours on these designated streets be moved by 6AM Friday. Cars will be towed if the vehicle’s owner can not be found to move them.
The massive paving project, which began Wednesday, is expected to facilitate the paving of 78 city streets, and will continue for about a month, weather permitting.
For more information you can contact City Hall at 270-365-9575.
All 78 streets to be paved are listed below.
