CCHS Junior Class Facebook Auction

Caldwell County High School’s Junior Class is trying something new this year to cover not only Class of 2022 Senior expenses, but this year’s highly anticipated Caldwell County Junior/Senior Prom.
Traditionally, the Junior Class holds annual events to aid in funding their senior trip and prom, as well as other senior expenses that each graduating class and their families incur. In years past, the Silent Auction and Dinner Theatre have been successful for them, however, this year due to the pandemic and the restrictions that have accompanied it, traditional methods have been tweaked, and a new event scheduled, to hopefully cover the costs. Caldwell County High School administrator, mentor, and Coach J.J. Griggs says the CCHS Junior Class Officers are asking for the community’s help and participation in their Online Facebook Auction.

Griggs says the local businesses have gone out of their way to show support and donate items for the auction.

The new fundraiser has even turned into a fun, real-life project for students at CCHS.

Although at an auction, traditionally, shoppers are looking for a great deal or discount, Griggs is urging the community to bid the items value.

With items donated and ready to go, Griggs asks everyone to join their Facebook group and bid on their favorites.

The silent auction has officially begun online. To view the items and get in on the action, visit the Caldwell County Junior Class Silent Auction page on Facebook.
