Kentucky State Police are looking for a Graves County inmate injured in Friday night’s tornado who walked away from the hospital following treatment.
44-year-old Francisco Starks was assigned to work release at the MCP Candle Factory in Mayfield when a tornado struck the city and destroyed the factory. Police say Starks was recovered from the rubble and taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center where he was treated and released. He then walked away from the hospital. State police were notified before 5 pm Saturday.
Starks was serving time in the Graves County Jail for burglary, auto theft, and receiving stolen property.
