Christian County Weather Spotters are showing the love today by delivering swimming pool liners to be used for tarping to help protect damaged homes in Caldwell County.
Pastor John Hagan with Calvary Baptist Church put out a plea Tuesday on WPKY for tarps due to the forecast of potentially heavy rain and high winds.
Christian County Weather Spotters Weather Coordinator David Powell answered the call and joined his board member retired Christian County Jailer Brad Boyd to deliver them in person to Princeton Wednesday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service and Powell, Caldwell County could see up to three inches of rain between Thursday and Saturday with wind gusts up to 35 mph through Thursday afternoon.
Boyd says he was able to find some pool liners at a major retailer to help provide some protection to damaged homes in Caldwell County.
Powell says they are continuing to accept donations at the Weather Ops building in Hopkinsville.
Wednesday morning, Princeton Fire Chief Brent Francis issued a temporary no burn order in effect until 6:00 Thursday morning.
