A Madisonville woman was arrested on warrants and possessing meth in Caldwell County Monday night.
Caldwell County Chief Deputy Sheriff Chris Noel reports deputies were on patrol when they observed a parked car at the end of Archery Club Road shortly after 8:30 p.m.
He says 39-year old Amanda Keyes was taken into custody by Deputy Chad Hawkins and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail. She was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine. Keyes was also served a Hopkins County District Court warrant for failure to appear for payment of court costs on public intoxication, theft by unlawful taking under $500, and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Deputy Hawkins was assisted by Deputy Jeremy Kolba.
