A former Caldwell County Sheriff’s deputy says he is happy about his appointment as the new police chief in Eddyville earlier this month.
Brook Dixon said he was proud to be appointed as the chief of the Eddyville Police Department on March 1st, in the town where he began his law enforcement career.

Dixon’s appointment comes after former Eddyville Police Chief Jaime Green retired on February 28 after two decades with the department. Green announced November 3, 2021, she had filed to run for the Lyon County Judge-Executive seat.
