An Evening With Coach Greg Vandagriff

Greg is a multiple championship winning high school football coach at Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart, GA. His team has won 3 of the last 4 Georgia state championships (2020, 2022, 2023), and were runners-up in 2021. His coaching record at Prince Avenue over the last 8 years is 97-12. His offense and defense have been ranked in the top ten (in scoring and points allowed) for six straight years.

Greg has coached at football camps and coaching clinics across the U.S. and internationally in England, Scotland, and France. He has also coached multiple players who are now playing in college and in the NFL. He desires to not only be the best coach he can be, but also (and more importantly) to be a shaper of men through his coaching.

Sports have become a family business, of sorts, for the Vandagriff family. Greg and his wife, Kelly, have three children. Anna plays volleyball at Eastern Kentucky University. Brock plays football, as quarterback, for the University of Kentucky. Audrey is an incoming college freshman who will play softball for the University of Alabama.

Sports are obviously an important part of Greg’s life, but he is most passionate about his faith, which has helped shape him from a boy in a challenging childhood situation to a coach of coaches. His faith in God is the foundation of his life, his family, and all he does. And he’s excited to share his story and all God has taught, and is teaching, him with others.
