Winter Field Day

Once again, this year, the Princeton Ham Radio Club, callsign W4KBL, will be participating in Winter Field Day. This event is a communications exercise to simulate how Ham Radio can communicate in the event of an emergency. We participate in these national events twice per year, once in the summer and once in the winter. The goal of this exercise is to make contacts and pass traffic if a tragedy disables normal communication methods.
We invite everyone to come see what this event is all about. We will host this event at the Caldwell County Emergency Operations Center beginning at noon on January 25th. This event will run from this time until Sunday at noon. Everyone is welcome to join in and has the ability to operate equipment.
