The Princeton City Council moved forward with key projects by approving a bid for the City-County Park dugout project and addressing surplus property requests from the fire department during Monday night’s meeting.
During unfinished business, Mayor Brock Thomas presented the only bid received for the dugouts, submitted by Beacon Athletics from Madison, Wisconsin, totaling north of $42,000.

In new business, the Council addressed two surplus property requests from the Princeton Fire Department. Mayor Thomas explained that one of these requests involves donating a truck to the county.

The Council also received several reports, including an update from Interim Director of Public Works, Chris Pool, who announced that work on the Big Springs Bridge commenced Monday morning.
